2026 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Info & Best tips

Okay fashionistas our favorite sale of the year is back with lots of changes this year! The Nordstrom sale is the only one where the upcoming fall clothes, accessories and yes, SHOES, go on sale before the season even starts! Starting today the virtual preview catalog went live and I will share the smartest way to shop it here! Bookmark this page so you can refer back to it!

Go to your account, then Nordy Club, to find your status and start date; you are eligible to start shopping. In the app, go to Account, then Rewards, to find your early access status.

The start of early access to the sale is staggered depending on your cardholder status, and the public sale begins July 18-Aug 9, if you don’t have a Nordstrom card.

If you do have a Nordstrom credit card, EARLY access is as follows for 2026:

Icon Status shops July 14-17

Ambassador Status shops July 15-17

Influencer Status shops July 16-17

Not a cardholder, no problem, You can shop July 18-Aug 9. Public access begins July 18, even if you don’t have a card.

Things do sell out and some restock, but not everything. So, it behooves you to get the card ahead of time (if you don’t have one already) so you can shop ahead of the general public. Click here to apply. You can get up to $60 in bonus notes when you shop the sale with your new card.

3 TOP TIPS:

1. Filter by percentage off, brand, color, size, etc to find your favorites or basics you need to replace.
2. Save favorites in your wishlist for fast checkout once you can actually shop.
3. Think about gifts to save for others. I got my husband a beautiful Ferragamo belt at a deep discount last year! Also if there is a designer item you’d like, let someone know it would make a great gift! The Knives, and pots/pans offer some of the largest discounts in the whole sale. Think about things you could gift adult children or yourself!

Bonus tip: If you are shopping in store leave earrings at home if you’ll be trying on clothes and wear an easy on/off dress and slip-on shoes. Keep necklace to something that won’t be another thing to remove when trying on clothes too.
